I can't believe you haven't given your "official" thoughts for Little Dorrit, part five. I came surfing into your weblog today looking for it and it was not to be found. Did you give up or were you just glad it was over and that self-important overblown pompous whining Mr. Dorrit has passed on meaning we could move on? [wink]
Remember all of the reasons we celebrate this nation's Independence Day in all of your 4th of July fun. We are truly blessed to have such freedom in this country and blessed to have those that have secured that freedom for us both past, present, and even in the days to come. In triumph and in tragedy we stand united and defiant in the face of any who would challenge our commitment to our freedom to our future to our country. Celebrating all of our heroes on independence day. Embrace your freedom, cherish your freedom, live out your freedom, love with your freedom, worship with your freedom, laugh with your freedom, and celebrate your freedom and enjoy your Independence Day. Have a good, old-fashioned, all-American kinda day. Have a happy and safe 4th of July.
So, here's to you and the red, white, & blue! Go USA! Happy Independence Day!
You are more than welcome. I'm glad that they were of some encouragement to you because it's been where I've been living since a little bit before I posted them. Seems that is always the case, isn't it? Right when you share from your own experiences, the enemy tries to turn the heat up. I've had to print it out and tape it to the wall above my computer, on my refrigerator, and in my cardholder in the diaper bag because I've needed to reference it myself a few times since I posted it. LOL!
At the beginning of this week I just felt compelled to drop by everyone who has maintained a subscription to my Xanga either through email digest or reading online a note of encouragement. Some of us have a busy week ahead or even a busy month. I know that I most certainly do so I wanted to share with you what I'm relying on to keep me sane and focused. I hope it helps you as well this month. Ready? Here goes. [grin] God is the shepherd who guides, the Lord who provides, the voice who brings peace in the storm, the physician who heals the sick, and the banner that guides the soldier. Provbers 18:10 says that God is our strong tower and that when we run into it, we are safe. Good to know, isn't it? I know that I will probably spend many days and moments this month peeking out from that tower. LOL!
If I leave another message maybe one of them will drop off. :-D
Boy its hard to concentrate with Scott's little bart icon mooning me from 3 places! Hey no problem on the book. Will wait till it gets here patiently. :-)
You know...come to think of it...I read Magdalene in two days, and yet I never posted a review of it. Also, I don't think I've ever chatted on your board. So I am now :)
Just wanted to stop by and say "hello" this morning...
May the Lord bless you and keep you, may the Lord turn His face toward you, and give you peace forever...[grin] It's my wish for my fellow Xangans this morning to find the joy of the Lord as their strength and His favor the freedom that soars beneath their wings. Just stopping in on the chatboards of my fellow Xangans to tell them that I hope they have an absolutely wonderful Wednesday. The weekend is on the way...hurray! [golf clap here]
Have a Smurfy Wednesday!
Just thought I'd send a smile your way today! : )
Geez, did I say that out loud?
Hey Ruth;Isn't this place perfect for random!!?
Always go for it,at mybaddy,anyway!
Hey! A "tickle", huh? LOL Well, that's better than what I was thinking because when I think of being "nudged", I think of a push! LOL I also had someone else think it was a hug, or like a tap on the shoulder. Who knows? I wish Xanga would explain it. I'd hate to go around thinking I was "tickling" or "hugging" when I was actually "pushing" or "shoving". LOL
HEY RUTH! I'm trying to figure out these new features on here and have no idea what I'm doing yet! LOL I'm playing around to see what this does or if it even works, SO congratulations...LOL...you're my first guinea pig! :o) By the way, have you figured out what a "nudge" is yet? I can't find any info on it so far.
It's ok,Ruth.I'll vouch for you.But there are a whole lot of us that seem to do that once in awhile.Just let it happen. You are officially vouched for.
Note;I posted this awhile ago, like I did with others,in mybaddy chat. However, after rethinking ,some should be posted to both, but for sure I should go to your site to respond,or this chat thing will be the biggest explosion since Hiroshima! Sorry about the brain fart, but now you should feel right at home!
Have a great day Ruth! There, now you've got action.
